Tormmorow, I can get back into the swing of a new school year. I am looking forward to it and yet at the same time, because we were so busy the summer went way too fast. Micah goes into grade seven, which scares me, and Thomas is going in grade four. Where has the time gone?

I lose Rachel and Andrew for the days (have them after school), but it will be nice to have just alyssa and Nick for awhile. I am thinking about taking on some new kids, but have not made up my mind. Extra money versus peace and quiet. Because Nick and Alyssa play great together.

We will see how it goes.

Okay, no mad at Mike anymore. Seems he had a priority job at work that had to be completed, and nothing would work for them. Also had not so good of a day. I am very tired of his boss doing everything he can to screw with Mike’s career. I swear I will go to the higher ups myself if he doesn’t smarten up. This time Mike went to his chain of command right away and put a complaint in. I was proud of him, even though he says it won’t do him any good. grrr.

Anyhow, love him again, and you will be seeing him around. After all, he did drive in the pouring down rain last night and we arrived home safe and sound. (With God’s help of course).

Oh, and the little boy I babysit, barfed all over his seat and hisself which was very nasty as I had to clean it up with no napkins. Hmm, good thing there was old flyers in the car. That is why I leave the van in a half mess. right?

If you ever wonder why you don’t see my husband anymore, it is because he didn’t call, and didn’t come home on time, makeing me late. grr

I have to say that right now I am very glad to be babysitting. The extra money is great, and I still can be home with my kids. This is a new experience as with Micah and Thomas, I had to go out to work when they were babies. I missed a lot that I don’t plan on missing with Alyssa. She is just so much fun and makes Mike and I laugh all the time. Last night at the supper table, she stood up and started singing TNT Dynomite!

Anyhow, another reason I am glad (getting to the ouch part) is that hockey season is upon us. We just bought Thomas’ a new pair of skates, and have to do Micah as well. That along with fees, tryouts, and that kind of stuff are a killer. And guess what? We have the money put away already. That’s right. So next time they complain that there is a house full of kids (and my two oldest can go play whenever they want cause their at that age) I can remind them that they are playing hockey once again, and if they want to do it with new skates? They had better be quiet!!!!

Okay, I am back to blogging, but I am not sure for how long. Sometimes life is just so busy! Like right now, we are trying to decide who would be the best people to rent our house in Scotch village. Mike is wondering why we can’t get just a normal, married family with kids. I tell him it is because they all buy houses, not rent them.

I must say that our house has come a long way! We have worked so hard, and gone up every chance we could when we were not working. We did take a week off to go to Lake Pleasent, and that was tremendous. When we came back, we found out the lady who was renting from us and who had not paid for three months (because I have sucker written all over me) had moved out without telling us. Blessing in disguise? Yes.

That is what we have been up too. Work, work, work. I am tired and need another vacation. On the other hand, school is starting in a little over two weeks.
